The programs offer a protective, emotionally safe, trauma-informed environment for young people facing homelessness, excommunication, abuse, exploitation, and disconnection from support systems.
Professional staff provide immediate assistance with basic needs alongside emotional, social, and therapeutic support tailored to each young person’s individual circumstances and needs, including aid in accessing legal and medical entitlements.
Time spent in the program provides an opportunity to achieve initial stability, build trusting relationships, and develop a personalized plan for the next stage of recovery and support.

Types of Programs
Heart Spaces in the Community – HaLev Tel Aviv and HaLev Eilat These frameworks offer community support and guidance to young women who have experienced complex traumas. The model combines emotional therapy, social support, and guidance in life processes – employment, studies, housing, and creating stability. The “Housing First” model allows young people to first receive a safe and stable living space, and from there begin a process of personal and social rehabilitation with a broad and intensive range of responses. .
Emergency Shelter for Homeless Young Women in cooperation with the Ministry of Welfare – Galgal Jerusalem Emergency shelter for homeless young women provides a safe place for girls and young women in extreme risk situations, sometimes after running away from home or living on the streets. The program provides immediate shelter alongside professional therapeutic support – emotional guidance, daily support, building a personal rehabilitation plan, and referral to ongoing community frameworks.
